Arthur Fiedler bust	Charles River/Beacon Hill

It's easy to miss this little gem of Arthur Fielder, only a short walk from the Esplanade in an unsuspecting spot on the Charles River next to Storrow Drive. Just the other side of the river on the Memorial Drive side, is the view of Beacon Hill and the Duck Tour boat in the photo on the right.



Chiune Sugihara	Chiune Sugihara

Steven Spielberg introduced Oscar Schindler to the world for those who hadn't heard of him before. Another savior during the war was a Japanese diplomat by the name of Chiune Sugihara. He is said to have saved 20,000+ lives. He is remembered at this memorial in Chestnut Hill, MA by one of many survivors who are still here to tell the story of this extremely couragous and compassionate man, who after the end of the war was punished by the Japanese government for disobeying orders. Like Raoul Wallenberg, he never received the gratitude and recognition he so deserved during his lifetime.



Peabody Essex Museum	Peabody Essex Museum

The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Salem, MA is not to be missed. They have extensive collections from all over the world, which include the Wu Tang house from China, as well as visiting exhibits like Geisha: The Painted Smile, which made it's stop in the Spring of 2004. Photos from 1925 and 1954 were part of the display, in addition to some beautiful kimonos.
